If it's a gas or electrical fire, immediately turn off the switch or valve to cut off the combustion source.
Keep covered until the flames are extinguished and the blanket cools, then carefully remove and clean up the site.
Should be placed in the kitchen or a conspicuous, easily accessible location, avoiding moisture and heavy pressure.
When using, fully cover the flame with the fire blanket; never cover only a portion.
The fire blanket is a single-use emergency item; do not reuse after a fire; replace with a new one.
Avoid contact with sharp, hard objects to prevent damage to the silicone coating and reduced fire resistance.
