Vehicle Fire Blanket / Thickened Silicone Auto Fire Blanket
Silicone flame-retardant coating — Fiberglass surface laminated with silicone layer, better air tightness, faster fire extinguishing.
A2 fire performance — Very low combustibility, meets national standards, large size covers effectively isolate fire.
Smooth and non-prickly — Silicone coating wraps fibers, smooth feel during handling, avoids traditional fiberglass skin pricks.
Remove the thickened silicone fire blanket from the red PVC bag, hold the edge or corner of the blanket (grab the pull tapes if equipped).
Shake or pull the folded blanket to fully unfold it into a large coverage shape.
Align with the burning vehicle or large fire source, cover tightly from top to bottom, ensuring the silicone coated side faces the flames.
Use hands or tools to smooth and tightly press the edges of the blanket, using the airtightness of the silicone layer to cut off oxygen.
Wait at least 15 minutes, confirm no re-ignition and cooled down, then carefully lift the fire blanket.
Inspect the silicone coating for cracking or peeling before use; damaged coating will reduce airtight fire suppression effectiveness.
Avoid long-term compression by heavy objects during storage to prevent adhesion or permanent creases in the silicone layer.
When cleaning, gently wipe surface oil stains with a damp cloth; do not use hard brushes or steel wool that may scratch the coating.
Must not be used to cover molten metal or chemical solvent fires; for ordinary solid and vehicle fires only.
