Traditional fire blankets have long relied on the passive fire-retardant principle of "covering to isolate oxygen," making it difficult to respond to sudden high-intensity fire sources. Zhejiang Sino-Canada Woan Technology Co., Ltd., located in Jincheng Sub-district, Lin'an District, recently announced that its independently developed perfluorohexanone active fire blanket has officially achieved large-scale mass production. By coating the blanket substrate with a special fire-extinguishing medium, this product can release fire-extinguishing gas within seconds upon contact with flames, marking a substantial step forward for civilian fire-fighting equipment toward "combining prevention and extinguishment."

At the company's product exhibition hall, General Manager Wang Xuming showed reporters the perfluorohexanone active fire extinguishing blanket. "Unlike traditional fiberglass fire extinguishing blankets, its core lies in the perfluorohexanone particles coated on the blanket surface," Wang Xuming introduced. Perfluorohexanone particles are a new type of material that can release fire extinguishing gas the moment they come into contact with a flame. "Traditional fire extinguishing blankets continue to burn for more than 30 seconds without isolating oxygen, but in the same situation, the perfluorohexanone fire extinguishing blanket actively extinguishes the fire in less than 3 seconds."

Previously, because this material could not withstand the high-temperature drying step in traditional coating processes, it was difficult to achieve large-scale mass production of related products. After technological breakthroughs, the R&D team of Zhongjia Woran took the lead in developing low-temperature coating technology, and in early 2026, jointly invested with multiple enterprises to establish Hangzhou Woran Tianchen New Materials Co., Ltd., realizing the mass production of core technology.

Zhongjia Wogan has also made improvements to address the pain points in the use of existing home fire safety products. Aiming at the poor fit of filter-type fire self-rescue respirators (gas masks) for people who wear glasses and users with larger head circumferences, the company has launched an enlarged and improved version. "To allow everyone to buy more suitable products," introduced Wang Xuming, "this further refines our product matrix. Zhongjia Wogan's product categories now cover more than 100 varieties including fire zone firefighting, water rescue, flood control supplies, outdoor camping protection, and more."

At present, Zhongjiawoan's products have achieved full-channel coverage online, and have won self-operated medals multiple times on platforms such as Tmall and JD Industrial Goods, firmly holding a leading position in the home fire safety e-commerce retail sector.
