Firmly attach the safety hook at one end to a fixed anchor point (e.g., window frame, heating pipe) and ensure it is locked.
Confirm the rope has no tangles, the wire core is undamaged, and both hooks lock properly.
If necessary, wear non-slip gloves and slowly release the rope.
Alternate hands gripping the rope, push off the wall with your feet, and descend smoothly to the ground.
After reaching safety, unhook and stow the equipment in an orderly manner.
Inspect the rope for wear and broken strands before use. Ensure the dual-hook locking function is normal.
During escape, avoid rope friction against sharp edges to prevent cutting the sheath and wire.
Store in a dry, ventilated place. Avoid moisture and chemical corrosion.
